80% of global citizens agree that NGOs make it easy to be involved in positive social change. Yet very few people actually work for it. We at Uttejana Foundation are currently serving and initiating projects in Youth Inspiration, Slum Development, Women Empowerment, and Youth Awareness.
When I first stepped into the slums of Kirti Nagar, I did not see poverty — I saw untapped potential waiting for someone to believe in it. Uttejana was born from a simple conviction: that every child, regardless of where they are born, deserves a fair shot at dreaming big. Every notebook we hand out, every mentor we connect, every lamp we light is a small act of faith in that potential.
We are not here to hand out charity — we are here to build capability. My hope for Uttejana is that it stays restless, stays youth-led, and never stops asking "what more can we do?" To everyone who has walked this journey with us — volunteers, donors, and the communities who trusted us — thank you for keeping this fire alive.
We focus on creating awareness among the youth for various social causes. Equipping young people with knowledge and leadership skills is the most direct path to sustainable community development.
We organize personal development circles, mentorship camps, and career orientation sessions to ensure the next generation discovers its true potential.
We operate with full transparency and accountability in every project we undertake.
We don't just give resources—we teach people how to create their own and succeed independently.
Every initiative starts and ends with the community. Their voice shapes our direction.

We envision a society where every youth, regardless of their socio-economic background, has the opportunity to dream big and the resources to achieve those dreams.
Meet the students and young professionals who give their weekends, evenings, and heart to this mission.
